What does WELCA mean? WELCA stands for Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. If you are a woman and you attend Central Lutheran Church, you are automatically a member of the WELCA! Several groups meet monthly; we hold annual gatherings such as the Epiphany Tea and Christmas Bake Sale; we donate and volunteer to support the ministries of Central Lutheran and the local community.
